Equally at home in a city centre or festival field, Colony is a popular installation work featuring multichannel sound, striking visuals and the intimacy of touch. A spatial sonic composition is played though 7 speakers inside large inflatables. The audience is encouraged to touch and hug the inflatables to both hear and feel the sound coming from within. Colony is an experiential piece where the link between the visual, haptic and auditory senses is central to the experience.

In 2023 Colony has been shown at Worcester light night, and is returning to Bluedot festival in July. In 2022 the work was exhibited at London Zoo and at Watermans gallery in London, at Bracknell Forest Springs festival and Wakefield Light Up the North festival. Previously it has been exhibited at Henley, Bluedot and Kendal Calling Festivals, and as part of Bournemouth Arts by the Sea and Oxford light night.
